Managing Director - Creative + Design + Licensing
Current• Support and Serve the Creative + Design Department - managing timelines, workloads, prioritization; evaluate production; effectively communicate between department leaders; be an advocate and coach for our team• Establish core TF Publishing product line of calendars, planners, journals and other stationery related products - research/identify licensed partners and trend-driven goods• Negotiate licensing terms and agreements; independent artists, photographers, brands, agents & agencies • Serve as liaison between licensors and creative team - maintaining brand standards, quality control and implementation of approval process• Educate our sales team of details, history, retail placement, historical performance of products • Royalty forecasting and quarterly reporting for licensors - providing sales data and retailer commitments• End of year royalty reconciliation based on actual sales performance • Product development - conceptualize key components involving functionality and design, providing creative direction and feedback, collaborate with creative team members• Execute design of calendars, planners and stationery (Adobe CS)• Designate product specifications for printers/manufacturer/suppliers, prepare RFQs• Maintain proper requirements related to product quality testing, social audits, and certifcations for approved manufacturers • Review and approve production proofs• Implement workflow/organizational improvements to production processes and methods for creative team• Manage the design, function and product assortment on our own website - tfpublishing.com - powered by Shopify• Maintain our social media accounts - customer interactions, consistent & relevant postings, promotions• Send regular email campaigns to our growing customer base, implement appropriate auto-triggered messaging• Account manager for e-commerce retailers (product assortment, deal proposals, order retrieval)
