- Managed the preparation and execution of Calumet’s IPO in 2006.- Represented Calumet on a successful wax products marketing joint venture and on a global specialty petroleum products joint venture.- Led efforts that resulted in standalone financing from predecessor parent company through successful completion of syndicated term loan and revolving credit facility prior to IPO.- Negotiated commercial agreements with global petroleum companies, including multiyear product processing and product marketing agreements.- Negotiated $300 million acquisition of Penreco, a manufacturer and marketer of highly refined specialty petroleum products.- Created Human Resources Department; built incentive compensation programs tied to key financial metrics, oversaw health and welfare benefits, drove employee engagement, developed talent acquisition and retention initiatives and ensured regulatory compliance.

- Joined Calumet, an Arthur Andersen client, when it was a $90 million asset company with sales of $150 million and 3 operating locations. - Recruited, trained, developed and managed 20 accounting department staff members. - Responsible for all financial statement preparation and internal reporting to the Board.
