I lead the Data Products Center of Excellence team in the Consumer Bank. I'm primarily responsible for setting the strategy for Data Products at the Bank, which includes our strategic destination, governance, and best practices for Data Product lifecycle development.My team of Data Product Managers partner with Tech, Ontology, and Architecture to design, model, and launch Data Products. Data Products are a key to Capital One's data strategy and represent the highest level of quality and rigor on our most important data.

Leading Finance Data Management at Bloomberg Industry Group. My team of analytics engineers and BI specialists are building out analytics pipelines, data catalogs, and a data warehouse to enable the business to modernize our data practices across the organization. I directly managed a team of Data Analysts and Data Engineers that focused on Marketing Operations Data Analysis. My team built out data products, ETL, and dashboards to help monitor risks and enable optimizations in our Marketing Operations processes. We also owned the deployment of new marketing features and execution of lower-funnel marketing campaigns for the Consumer Bank. We used a variety of tools (Python, Snowflake, Databricks, Tableau, SFMC, internal tools) to build out monitoring on our orchestration applications, bring in data from various sources (APIs, batch, stream), transform and model for analyst consumption, and craft complex Enterprise data into actionable marketing uses.I delivered a number of key results:- Owned the framework for prioritization, feature development, and execution of Marketing campaign segmentations- Guided engineers to develop data models for marketing applications- Successfully directly managed, coached, and developed a team of 12 data analysts and engineers- Created ETL and modeled data products to monitor and analyze marketing orchestration and performance using Python, Spark, Snowflake, Tableau, and more- Delivered analytical data products used by 150 analysts: code reviews, design feedback, and socialization- Recruitment in-person and remote for Data Analyst candidates- Created LEaD, a People Leader development program for organization (45 managers): included resourcing, cohort selection, communications, evaluations- Managed several analytical vendor relationships, including contracting, technical interfacing, process design, and managing delivery of value - competitive benchmarking, NLP for customer surveys

Led a horizontal practice of 20 data analysts to migrate our organization's data infrastructure, analytic processes, and reporting delivery to a cloud computing architecture. Wore several hats over the course of the 18 month project, including:- Project management of the cloud migration of 150 business and data processes across multiple technical platforms and business intents- Cloud solution expert for analyst team, primarily consulting on how to map legacy data processes to more fit-for-purpose cloud solutions using AWS services (and others)- Mentoring junior analysts on classic data analysis skills: understanding and working with dirty data, creating analyses and data processes using good software design principles, and crafting meaningful stories from data that move the business forward- Liaising between my organization and the Enterprise to align on Platform, Risk, and Compliance goals- As a lead analyst, providing deep expertise on the data and technical ecosystem of Capital One to design robust infrastructure, processes, and insights that support our analytical agenda- Develop KPIs for progress towards migration milestones and deploy automated Tableau dashboards used to update executives on progress towards goals
