As Communications Manager for The American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy, I wore a variety of different hats. I worked with our researchers and policy experts to develop communications materials around upcoming report releases and policy conferences. Nanjing, Jiangsu, China

I taught Kindergarten, 6th grade, and junior high students at Nanjing Foreign Language School. NFLS is one of the oldest foreign language schools in China and is among the best schools in the city. As a teacher, I had to prepare lesson plans and practice a mix of dialogues and written excercises in class. I had to assign oral and written homework to the students in addition to preparing occasional presentations and helping other teachers with their work.
