Mr. Priester provides executive consulting services for ePlace Solutions, Inc. in the areas of incident response planning, data breach response, risk assessments, and cyber security strategy. He has co-developed several webinars, articles, and other educational materials on behalf of ePlace Solutions to assist their clients in formulating appropriate governance and operational strategies for data breach prevention and protection.

Mr. Priester provides executive leadership and technical subject matter expertise for Atomicorp.His strategic contributions include development and management of key business relationships, as well as development roadmap planning, market analysis, competitive research, and product management of features and functionality.Mr. Priester's technical contributions to our security software products include codebase improvements for the installer and other various modules, prototyping of the threat management capability and reputation system, and feature modeling of compliance modules and vulnerability scanner checks.

Mr. Priester provides Subject Matter Expertise in IA/InfoSec as well as program management support and executive leadership for Prometheus Global.He is currently supporting the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission's Cyber Security Branch in the implementation of the NRC's cyber security program for civilian nuclear facilities, developing advanced cyber security training for inspectors, and providing contractor support for cyber security inspections of nuclear power plants. Mr. Priester has been a key contributor to several NRC guidance documents, including NUREGs and NUREG-CRs. He is also the lead contractor technical resource for the NRC's Cyber Security Working Group for Rulemaking for Fuel Cycle Facilities.He is Prometheus Global’s Lead Auditor & Penetration Tester, having performed dozens of small- and large-scale engagements at the local, state, and Federal government level, as well as commercial clients. Mr. Priester has extensive Computer Forensics training and experience - he has performed Incident Response and Forensics for the Executive Office of the President, the American Enterprise Institute and the Department of Labor, among others.He also has over 20 years of Certification & Accreditation experience. Mr. Priester began performing C & A in 2000 while working for Corbett Technologies, the company who developed the DITSCAP and NIACAP. He has been engaged in FISMA activities since before the official release of NIST 800-53.Finally, he is very active in security policy formulation and in building security practices and solutions for many clients.

Corbett Technologies (acquired by BAE Systems in October 2002) was the firm that developed the U.S. Department of Defense Information Technology Security Certification and Accreditation Process (DITSCAP) and the National Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (NIACAP) for U.S. civilian agencies. Mr. Priester functioned as a prime technical asset for Corbett’s C&A projects under various standards. He was also Corbett’s technical lead on a variety of other projects, including Incident Control and Recovery (ICR), Forensics, Security Posture Assessments (SPA) and Security Design and Review (SDR). Mr. Priester authored and updated several Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) for various U.S. Government agencies.

(Shadow Group was acquired by Corbett Technologies in May 2001)Mr. Priester was a member of a leading-edge network security team founded by two Senior developers of the Netranger (the world's first commercial Intrusion Detection System). The Shadow Group team enjoyed extensive industry knowledge of system, design and enterprise security, providing unmatched resources in Mr. Priester’s introduction into the security sphere. During his tenure, Mr. Priester conducted extensive research on product security for a variety of technologies for Security Design Reviews, and provided assistance in several Security Posture Assessments and security services engagements.

Mr. Priester was a member of the ESDKM team, providing enterprise, remote, and mobile support for users worldwide in ESSD, a 300-user Vice Presidential Unit. Mr. Priester provided QOS, availability and security for over 20 discrete services and systems. He also enforced enterprise security measures, acceptable use policies, desktop compliance, and user rights management.
