Responsible for developing a 30-year capital and O&M plan for all major power plant components and systems. Charged with implementing a new Root Cause Analysis (RCA) program in an effort to focus more on Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM). Initiated review of existing preventive/predictive maintenance programs/procedures to verify effectiveness. Worked on special projects as assigned. Also, provided general support of others in Asset Management and at the generation plants.

Columbus, Georgia Area

Responsible for managing all Civil – Site and federal government projects for JEG’s Columbus, Georgia office. Directly supervised 4 personnel and managed design teams with up to 50 team members. As project manager, helped lead each project from proposal stage to design stage and ultimately through construction stage. The majority of projects managed were US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Naval Facilities, or DOD Residential Communities Initiative projects and ranged from small (<$5 million construction budget) to large (>$50 million construction budget).

Uss Nimitz

Responsible for supervising the operation of all machinery associated with a naval nuclear power plant including turbine generators, propulsion turbines, main reduction gears, steam and condensate systems, potable water system, distilling units, and air compressors worth over several hundred million dollars. Administered preventative and corrective maintenance over same systems. Directed comprehensive training and maintenance programs ensuring proper procedural compliance and quality assurance in conducting routine maintenance and repairs. Managed and trained 43 enlisted mechanics.
