I'm a student and researcher interested in the nexus of international political economy, international relations, sociology, and communications. I'm fascinated by revolution, rebellion, and other "bottom-up" social phenomena. I think GIS should have a larger spot in academic research and communications than it currently holds.I am currently Legislative Intern for Rep. WIlliam J. Sowerby (D-MI). I hold the position of Digital Communications Editor at the Communications Department of my school College of the Atlantic, where I study human ecology — an experimental and interdisciplinary major.College of the Atlantic is the first school in the US to focus on the interactions between humans and their natural, social, and technological environments. COA was nominated the most sustainable college in the US in 2016 by both The Princeton Review and the Sierra Club. The school is located between the shores of the Atlantic Ocean and the mountains of Acadia National Park on Mount Desert Island in Maine. I am very proud to go to school there.I make coffee everyday and I'm proud of my skills in both ping pong and Super Smash Bros. Melee.
