I was promoted to Associate Director of CBL Consulting in January 2024. I am responsible for managing a team of engineers and technicians, working on projects from concept stage to detailed design and construction. I contribute to business growth and development, whilst maintaining a key technical role within the practice.

I was elected as a Member of the Institution of Structural Engineers in June 2023 following success in the Professional Review Interview in August 2022 and passing the Chartered Membership Exam in May 2023. I was accepted in to the Engineering Council as a Chartered Engineer in August 2023.In this role I am responsible for the day-to-day running of commercial and residential projects, including attending design team meetings and site inspections.

Over two eight-week summer placements I worked as a Site Operative for Ravenscroft Construction in Guernsey on a range of Residential new builds and commercial renovations. I undertook a summer placement during my time at university to gain experience and understanding of structural engineering and construction. My role predominantly involved the production of general arrangement drawings and construction details, but also shadowed senior engineers on site inspections and undertook basic calculations
