Casing and tubing make up and break out at numerous rigs on the north slope alaska region. Utilizing various equipments from commonly used handling tools and hydraulic power tongs up to state of the art WeCatt wireless communications WinCatt torque turn systems paired with Volant CRT tools. Knowledge and experience assembling 2-4.5, 3-7.0, 4-7.0, 2-8.63 Volant tools as well as educating drillers and overseeing operations. Building and servicing all handling tools, HYC, MYC, YC, YT, Side door elevators, Rotary hand slips through 500 ton slips/elevators. Familiarity to dressing various sizes and manually operated as well as air operated. Familiar with Varco, BJ, Wooley, TI, AOT, Volant tools. Proficient with Eckel, McCoy, Magnum, Farr power tongs as stand alone as well as with integrated back ups systems. Ability to use hydraulic power units and adjust as needed for excellent torque turn results. All equipment is function operated at the shop prior to shipping to customers location and for torque turn operations the full package and spares are tested by simulated makeup of casing connections. I had the opportunity and organized and sorted and labeled all parts and components from tong heads to slip dies by Manufacturer, type, and what for. Did same for load cells. Simplified the operation for both Manager to see what was in house and available to crews putting together upcoming job packages.
