After being an intern in the Student Ministry Department for a year, I was moved to full-time as the Associate Director. Student Ministry is kind of a catch-all, but a few of my responsibilities are as follows:- Planning programming, events, and trips in both content & administrative capacities - Planning and leading worship with the student band & occasionally filling in on Sunday mornings in the main services- Connecting with parents, students, volunteers, & other staff members throughout the week- Teaching students at least once a month, leading small groups, meetings, & trainings

My husband and I have a small, handmade soy candle business with literary-inspired scents that we just sold. It’s been a fun and creative project to work on together! Tookish Candle Company has been surprisingly successful. We have been in subscription boxes and brick and mortar stores, but sell mainly online. While small business ownership is doing a little bit of everything, here are some of the more notable responsibilities:- Social media posting and content creating/curating, @tookishcandleco- Connecting with people: customers, shop owners, business partnerships- Thinking creatively & outside the box to make something new and unique- Designing labels, thank you cards, general branding for the company

I do a lot of administrative work: scheduling meetings, organizing to-do lists, etc. Another big part of the job is making and maintaing relationships and really connecting with people. It is a wonderful job!
