As a project manager at Hoppinger I work with a multidisciplinary team (~12 FTE) of software engineers, strategists, marketeers, UX- and visual designers to create new or expand current web-based solutions. Digitization of our clients business using the Agile Scrum and/or Prince2 methodology and tailoring the process to suit the challenge ahead.Within these projects, I am responsible for the overall planning, resource allocation, budget, reporting and stakeholder management. I work together with the technical- & design leads to identify risks, resolving issues and mitigating bottlenecks.Outside the projects, I am responsible for managing the percentage of billable hours and forecasting the capacity of this multidisciplinary team. I advise the human resource department in their recruitment efforts and coach individual team members to tap into everyone's full potential. Key responsibilities- Creating and maintaining a project plan that fits the client's strategy, the project budget and team capacity; - Signalling and documenting risks and bottlenecks, mapping possible outcomes, coming up with solutions and communicates these properly with internal and external stakeholders;- Making optimal use of the budget to deliver the desired business case and together with the client makes modifications if needed; - Identifying scope creep, managing priorities, expectations and status of the scope so it is clear for everyone involved;- Managing project stakeholders and suppliers. Setting up governance structures to ensure proper decision making;- Responsible for the well being, motivation and productivity of a multidisciplinary team (~12 FTE);- Identify opportunities for new projects and properly communicating these opportunities with business developers and the client.

At Capgemini I worked as one of the four project managers in a program which replaced systems facilitating interfaces between IT service management tools. Every customer works according their own processes which we try to align in the tool as much as possible. Of course we do this in close collaboration with the customer facing colleagues.
