Although my professional history has been mainly in retail/sales, I am looking to further my experience in the medical, biotech or healthcare field. During my academic career I majored in Psychology, but concentrated on the Bio-Behavorial aspects of the popular life science. It required a more rigorous scientific curriculum than the typical Psychology degree -obtaining a Bachelor of Science and minoring in Biology. While obtaining this degree, I believed that a well rounded education in a variety of subjects outside my focus would be an extreme asset. For this reason, I also studied subjects such as Art History, Religion, Archaeology, Woman's Studies, Parapsychology, and Traditional Chinese Medicine, to name a few. Surprisingly, it was while studying such classes that I learned why and how psychology, and science in general, was truely applicable and necessary to every aspect of life.While a degree in such a broad field such as Psychology, I know the professional directions are endless, because its applications are endless. And while sales may seem like a natural progression, my passion will always remain in scientific research, because I truly understand and treasure its limits and value to further the understanding of our world.
