Worked with Population Council staff to finalize curriculum for the pilot of their Adolescent Girls Empowerment Program (AGEP). Adapted, edited, and formatted curriculum sessions from a variety of sources to help form a cohesive and relevant health and life skills program for girls in rural areas of Zambia.

Worked in partnership with the Broadreach Institute for Training and Education (BRITE) and the Zambia Integrated Systems Strengthening Program (ZISSP) to adapt a new, nationwide Management and Leadership Academy training curriculum. Traveled throughout Zambia collecting feedback from local health care professionals to ensure the curriculum would address relevant local concerns and incorporate important existing tools and information from the Zambian Ministry of Health.

Co-chaired meetings, established work groups and coordinated discussions between hospital, state government and insurance company representatives to resolve policy disputes. Hired, trained and supervised staff, interns and temporary employees. Created and edited presentations, policy briefs, newsletter articles, reports and other communications for both internal and external audiences.
