Having three years of experience in different fields has equipped me with a wide array of skills. As a page in the children's department at a library, I have learned communication and problem-solving. Having to diffuse situations with either parents or children can be delicate and require careful communication and creative solutions. As a food court trainer, I have learned management and organization. Dealing with up to ten orders at a time, organization and delegation are vital to ensure the food comes out promptly and everyone is working with each other. Delegating employees to a task that emphasizes their specific skill set not only speeds the process but eliminates the stress of trying to focus on everything at once. The skills learned at these jobs have translated into my everyday life.
