During my time studying at Griffith University, I gained essential knowledge and experience investigating the medicinal properties and potential benefits of Australian fungal compounds. This scientific journey gave me the expertise to confidently work with various cells and fungi, as well as perform multiple types of experiments including, but not limited to, ELISA, EUCAST, and Griess assays. In obtaining my Master of Medical Research, I have learned the importance of time-management, collaboration, problem solving and adaptiveness.

In Trimester 2 of 2023, I was a tutor for the course, "Research Methods & Statistics (2018AHS)".In Trimester 1 of 2024, I was a tutor for the course, "Molecular Genetics (2000MSC)".My responsibilities included the preparation of materials, running weekly workshops, assisting students in a Laboratory (BSL-2), providing academic assistance/ advice and marking assessment items. Both of these courses were part of the curriculum of University students.

Through 'Edge Taekwondo', I have over 10 years of experience in martial arts training, and over 4 years experience as an instructor. This role taught me the importance of self-discipline, confidence and communication when teaching a martial art to all ages and abilities.
