Digital Communications lead (Supervisory) - Guide and support the Banff Field Unit Digitial Communications team. Advice on digital communication trends and adherence to the Government of Canada's policies and best practices. Lead recruitment and training of the new Digitial Communications team members.Digital Communications - Lead and support the creation of digital communication strategies to bring essential information regarding conservation work, public consultations, and events to the public. Responsible for supervising the Banff Field Unit's portfolio of social networking accounts and advising on initiative opportunities. - Supervisor of Banff National Park's initiative Digital communication team. Stakeholder Relations- Responsible for an intimate knowledge of Banff Field Unit stakeholders and partners. Duties include implementing a digital transformation exercise regarding communication products (via email marketing software) and maintenance of stakeholder lists and relationships. Project management - Go to for project management and advice on implementing and delivering. Excelled in long-term projects, and sprints. Projects range from independent work to multi-function and/or Field Unit collaborations.

Required active knowledge of current trending social media platforms and complimenting trends and best practices in social media. Knowledge of the Communications Policy within the Government of Canada/ Parks Canada Agency. Ability to communicate effectively in writing;Ability to communicate effectively orally;Ability to develop engaging content using effective social media writing styles;Ability to think creatively and use new and innovative tools for reaching target audiences through social media activities and campaigns; andAbility to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while managing conflicting priorities.

Displayed an advanced understanding of video and photography tools and techniquesexperience with the Adobe Creative Suite, in particular Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
