Digital Designer
Current• Utilize Adobe Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere, and other Adobe software to create static and motion custom content for a diverse slate of platforms including over 50 social media accounts and app-user consumer marketing emails• Delegate the digital design team coverage schedule focusing on Football, Men’s and Women’s Basketball, Women’s Volleyball, Baseball, Softball, Women’s Gymnastics, Wrestling and Big Ten Tentpole events• Educate the social media posting team to advance their understanding of basic design concepts to maintain the Big Ten Network and Big Ten’s visual brandby leading the digital design team in producing over 2,100 graphics during the 2023-24 Big Ten school year• Communicate with managers and producers to regularly update project timelines and report on progress as well as strategize content for Big Ten and NCAA athletic events, awards and milestones• Organize, manage and distribute all sponsored graphics, motion and static, that are used on all sponsored digital content to on campus editors and others within the company • Builds, manages, and distributes logs, style guides and tool kits as needed• Create memes and other niche content to bring a fun, contemporary feel to digital output• Collect live student athlete/school content at B1G events such as Football Games, Media Days, tournaments, championships, and other events• Use Slack and Microsoft office daily to effectively communicate with coworkers and organize projects• Lead projects on tight deadlines, and remain flexible with last minute asks at off hours and made sure a variety of stakeholders for solid graphics support interfacing with internal partners within the company, as well as outside freelancers
