Prior to launching Patterson Technology Services, I owned and operated Lake Martin Internet positioned in Tallapoosa County. The re-acquisition of Bell South holdings by AT&T marked the end of small Mom and Pop internet service providers and hence returned me to my roots. Prior to Lake Martin Internet, I was a Partner and CTO of T. A. Lewis & Associates in Birmingham, AL. During my tenure with Tim Lewis, we created a lasting mark in the State of Alabama and beyond with involvement in every scale project during the '80s, 90's and into the decade of the Gregorian calendar - the two-thousands. Mercedez-Benz plant in Vance AL, Honda plant in Lincoln AL, Visionland Theme park ( later becoming Alabama Splash Adventure) to name a few and there were hundreds more. We designed, managed the bid and contract award process and project managed so many and varied projects in so many areas and States. It was a career of fast pace, great stress, and huge demand and I loved every minute of it. The end result of my fifteen years profoundly impacted my next several years of decisions and life. It brought me to where I am today. Although still very active in this wonderful world of technology, I am slowing down considerably.
