Currently, I am the Mid-Atlantic Regional Science Coordinator for The American Chestnut Foundation (TACF). Our mission is to restore the American chestnut (Castanea dentata) to its' native range. Previously, I studied ramp/wild leek (Allium tricoccum and A. burdickii) habitat throughout PA while receiving my M.S. from Pennsylvania State University. I received my bachelors in biology from James Madison University. My research interests are in conservation, restoration, forest ecology, and botany.
