Before: gaps of protection, visibility and logging of web accesses and DNS. After: DNS and WAF higher level of security, visibility and stability; blocked thousands of attacks (SQL injection for example) and saved TB of data via cached content.2020 to 2021: Backup, recovery and test solution, to migrate on premises backup to a cloud storage. Before: backups used to require dozens of TB storage in local disks, with constant demands of hardware replacement and maintenance and no scalability to provide a constant space requirement growth. After: Linux + Google Drive + S3 compatible buckets at Oracle OCI; solved lacks of space, availability, observability, safety and growth capacity; no more constants hardware replacements and maintenance; and financial saves with no more hardware acquisition and maintenance.2019 to 2021: HTTP/HTTPS Ubuntu Linux web application frontend, running NGINX at Oracle OCI, protected by CloudFlare WAF. Served hundreds of thousands access by month to educational systems. Results: running for two years with stability, efficiency, and financial savings; high availability provided by Oracle OCI; high security provided by CloudFlare WAF.2016 to 2021: Single sign on using Linux for thousands (peak almost 3K) simultaneous users; running for five years with financial savings and stability. Before this solution, users used to have multiple credentials and no centralized way to change passwords.

They have been running for more than ten years without major issues and almost no maintenance. Main achievements: automation of repetitive tasks; no more human intervention and less operational failures; more than 2 hours per operation saved with automation; better teacher's experience at labs.
