My passion for learning and creativity is what defines me. My earliest school memory was my fifth grade teacher describing my "college reading level" to my parents, and my affinity for with the other students. When I got to middle school, I was placed in an advanced math class. In high school, I was taking AP Government and Politics, and I excelled in my history, science and English classes.There was a club in my high school called "Writing for Publication." The duties of the club were to create, edit and design a magazine full of short stories and poems, and any student could submit their writing to the magazine. We would also host two poetry slams at the school a year, and one murder mystery night to finish of the year. I was elected President of this club for 3 years in a row, and as Club President I coordinated with the Marysville Sno-Isle Library to host poetry slams there, so we could include members of other communities in the event. The club was also turned into a class, allowing the teacher and I to collaborate on creating projects for these young writers.I am currently seeking the job that will help me flourish. While I have been doing well in my 2 years of retail experience, I think its time to start aiming higher.
