About Cat Chapman Smith

Cat Chapman Smith is a Director of Studio Operations at UX is Fine. He possess expertise in animation, television, film, computer animation, visual effects and 10 more skills. Colleagues describe him as "Cat is full of experience, drive, and heart. And she keeps everything running. Cat managed the buildout for the Sparkypants office space and set us up properly with Zenefits. She has managed all the building needs and inventory, payroll, contracts, payments, travel, company lunches, hiring, and ongoing HR. She has also arranged the annual holiday party as well as regular gaming nights for the company. Cat has a huge amount of entrepreneurial energy and is proactive on every front, always looking for better ways. When we felt the need for a proper Employee Manual, Cat took the typical legalese and worked with others to make it something that would speak to the company tone and values. It went from something that would have been ignored by most to something that was fun to read and set the proper tone. Cat clearly cares about all those around her, has their best interests in mind, and has exemplary integrity. And people know it. She has been great at understanding my intentions and makes suggestions in line with our mission. Finally, Cat has serious additional skills in IP extension which we hope to take advantage of someday. It continues to be my pleasure to work with her and she’s been a big part of the Sparkypants. " and "I've worked with Cat on several occasions on projects ranging from animation to visual effects to live-action. She has that rare talent of being able to organize productions so they run incredibly smoothly while at the same time serving and satisfying the needs of the creatives involved. The ability to juggle these two (often competing) forces - business and creative - is a rare talent indeed and this makes Cat all the more valuable. I would work with her again in a heartbeat!"

Listed skills include Animation, Television, Film, Computer Animation, and 11 others.
