A hybrid role which utilises both Business Analysis and Test Analysis skills throughout the SDLC.Business Analysis - Working closing with stakeholders and project sponsors to ensure project requirements are recorded, solutions are considered. Supporting the Project Manager with schedulding, documentation, deployments, and communicating with other parties within the project. Working mostly with Agile and Waterfall methodologies to ensure projects are supported from start to finish. Documentation created include; project requirement reports, technical reports based on the requirements documentation, as-is and to-be diagrams, gap analysis, researching suitable solutions, and ensuring these are communicated to the relevant people in a timely manner.Test Analysis - Create test plans, write clear and consise test suites, with test cases and scripts which are accurate and provide sufficient test coverage, and test completion reports. Analysing which test process to follow, from component and unit testing, to functional and regression testing, utilising black-box and white-box testing techniques where necessary. Report defects with clear and accurate details, and openly discuss issues directly with the developers, and perform retests as and when required. Ensure all relevant documentation is communicated in a timely manner to relevent members of the project.Involved in the deployment of multiple multi-departmental projects in both Business Anaylst and Test Analyst roles, including: the roll out of a brand new CMS which also included the launch of over 100 websites. The ongoing updates to the main commerce platform for the business. Implementing a new sales tool for the sales department to enable them to create more reliable and concise sales reports. For the first year I was Web Editor for the EDP and Evening News, managing and updating stories on the websites, helping reporters put their stories online, and creating new sections for the website.After a year, I changed my title to Digital Content Developer, as this became more in-line with the evolution of the role.
