Highly motivated research scientist with a background in stem cell biology, bioinformatics, and translational research currently focused on evaluating the role of ABCB5+ stem cells in cancers such as glioblastoma and diseases such as psoriasis as well as the potential for dermal-derived ABCB5+ mesenchymal stem cells to trans-differentiate into limbal stem cells that regenerate the corneal epithelium to treat corneal diseases such as those caused by limbal stem cell deficiency.
