Eager to learn more about the accounting world and gain hands on experiences. Being a accounting intern has been extremely beneficial to my understanding of hands on accounting work. I have been able to assist with daily accounting tasks such as general ledger reconciliations, processing invoices, as well as creating and sending bills. I learned how to use a variety of accounting software and further developed skills using all parts of Microsoft Office. I was given the responsibility of creating an “accounting handbook” consisting of technical writing where I document my accounting tasks with extreme detail and explain each step in an easy-to-understand way.
