The Level Crossing Removal Project (LXRP) oversees one of the largest transport infrastructure projects (~$13B) in Victoria’s history. It is committed to removing 110 dangerous and congested level crossings across Melbourne by 2030. It is the largest project of its kind in Victoria's history.The program involves numerous other rail network upgrades such as new train stations, track duplications and train stabling yards.The Hive is Australia’s first innovation incubator on a major construction program. It is a step-change program for the attraction, generation and incubation of audacious ideas from both within and outside our organisation. We connect, support and empower teams to explore, trial and scale audacious ideas for breakthrough outcomes. This helps the program deliver faster, more cost effective, safer and more sustainable works.As part of this team, I: - Identify and advance new innovation opportunities, offerings and partnerships, including some with 100X ROI or more.- Played an instrumental role in devising Hive Services' FY24 action plan. This involved conducting extensive user needs research and analysis, before proposing strategic initiatives to best address these needs. - Manage resources, steer project execution, and lead a team to achieve project goals within allocated budgets. I identify resourcing needs and propose new roles and position descriptions, as well as conducting interviews and onboarding.- Arrange and host flagship events for Hive Services’ culture change program. Some of the world’s most exciting innovators have presented their processes and ideas, fuelling innovation discussion and action around the organisation.

I turned it from a part-time venture into an internationally recognised team of 18 people, without any external funding.
