I am working as a lead engineer working on the core platform team, my role includes working as an individual contributor and working on our code base and also managing other engineers and having direct reports.

I am a Senior Software Engineer working with React, Ruby, MySQL, AWS and other technologies in my role.

I worked on a wide variety Patreon projects during my time at Patreon, most notably the companies in house built payment and tax services as well as leading the companies efforts on currency. The primary technologies used during my time at Patreon was Python, TypeScript, React, MySQL among others. The teams I worked on used a variety of different methodologies including agile, Kansan and sprint cadence workloads. I was also heavily involved in interviewing and evaluating talent.

I worked as the Lead Software Development Engineer on our Integrations team which manages the communication and traffic between internal entity communication as well as external data traffic. The projects are primarily focused on a hybrid of event driven and streaming architecture. technologies being used include AWS Event Bridge, NodeJs, Serverless, AWS Lambda, TypeScript. I am also one of the engineers responsible for the implementation and maintenance of our companies CI/CD Pipeline. I have a team of engineers and QA's directly reporting into me that I manage as well as being an individual contributor myself.

I worked as the sole developer on a team building e-commerce cart and checkout functionality. managing the cart state machine with its continuous interactions and updates from other team entities like our PIM, Pricing, Promo and Inventory among other. Primarily backend, the technologies used were NodeJs, Serverless, AWS Lambda, SQS, SNS, and third party integrations such as Stripe and Adyen.

I worked at Cayton's Cyber initially building enterprise applications for the Lloyd's of London insurance industry for claims management, which were primarily build in ColdFusion, Microsoft SQL and a Bootstrap UI. After a year I transitioned into a new role and leading the development of a new insurance product for insurance claims quotation generation. This type of platform was designed to be used by Insurance underwriters. This new platform was a greenfield project built using Full Stack JavaScript. The technologies used were MongoDB, ReactJS, NodeJS and ExpressJS.

I worked as a Software Developer building an automated laundry tracking application using a combination of a web based software platform as well as a hardware equipped RFID enabled smart laundrette. The project I worked on was based on equipping PPE with RFID tracking chips, when a piece of PPE entered into the laundrette the PPE was automatically logged by one of the RFID scanners in the smart laundrette. As the PPE proceeds through the laundry process its status would get logged by the laundry stages RFID scanner. That data in turn would be synced into a MySQL database with a Java backend and a VanillaJS/HTML frontend that would allow users to log into the site and see the status of their PPE equipment in the laundrette.
