I am currently a junior at The College of New Jersey pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Secondary Education, as well as a German for Business Certificate. I love to learn, and I believe that teachers can be found in various places. Novels, for instance, have been some of my most prominent teachers throughout my life, helping me better understand human nature and various viewpoints on a plethora of topics. While literature has substantially shaped how I think, such lessons would be useless if I did not apply them in my own life, which is why I fervently pursue as many opportunities that pique my interest as possible. Thus, I have not only gotten involved in numerous organizations but also taken on several leadership positions. These experiences have allowed me to work with many different people, obtain a variety of skills, and learn about how I can most effectively apply myself in whatever I do next.
