Managing a technology demonstrator programme and bid for an new Radar programme

A key delivery role on transformational support contract worth £450m. I worked as part of joint service delivery team with the UK Customer and implemented a simple process for managing and closing bespoke UK national tasks – over 100 tasks received in first year of contract. I managed the team that administered this process ensuring that service level agreements were met and also managed a number of the larger and more strategic tasks to completion.

Working as a key part of a complex multi company consortium to deliver an on ground training capability to our Customer base across Europe. I was the Contract Delivery Manager of several training contracts totalling £176m. My team and I managed the financial and operational elements of these contracts. I worked across the project life cycle, from concept and bid phase, to delivery, installation, change proposals and contract closure.

Working with key stakeholders to build a Support Centre, a bespoke facility on one of Customer’s operating bases. This facility included aircraft training equipment and a supporting IT facility. I was responsible for ensuring the build completed on time and to cost and that all the programme elements integrated effectively. I spent time on site to deal with issues as they arose due to the fast pace of the build programme and managed the contractual type acceptance process.
