Certified Legal Intern currently attending Quinnipiac University School of Law as a 3L. Involved in several student-run organizations including the Quinnipiac Law Review (Publications Coordinator), Student Bar Association (President), Cannabis Law Society (VP of Student Involvement), and Mock Trial Society. Also a member of Phi Alpha Delta legal fraternity. Completed post-1L and 2L summer legal internship with the Connecticut Division of Public Defender Services in the New Haven GA courthouse. Duties included taking application information, interviewing clients in the office and in lockup, conducting research, reviewing and transcribing bodycam footage, writing motions, reviewing trial evidence, and representing clients at their arraignments.Graduated from the University of Maryland with a B.S. in Biology. Coursework allowed for the development of skills in writing lab reports, data collection and analysis, and overall problem solving. Worked several years in the veterinary field as a customer service representative. Oversaw financial documents, patient and client files, and the schedules of multiple providers and emergency departments. Learned effective communication with clients and colleagues in fast-moving and high-stress environments.
