Applied the learnings from my mentor partner to conduct CAE testing to determine the effect of heat on the coolant hoses for their 2019 police vehicle program. Applied biomechanical learnings from my undergraduate classes to develop innovative medical device solutions for the critical care team. Created and then tested catheter prototypes with the goal of developing a new system for delivering IV medications to patients with a reduced risk of infection. Matured designs for new test setup that would measure the maximum forces a certain medical delivery system could withstand, in order to determine whether this device could be inserted into bone.

Conducted testing on emerging aerospace material technologies. Developed test methods, prepared samples, conducted testing, and analyzed results for patented material that was developed to be used as skin for combat planes. Presented results of this testing to research team and suggested further research and testing that could be done to learn more about the efficacy of this material for its intended use.
