AS PROJECT MANAGER:- Develop and implement design initiatives ranging from individual department focused concepts to complete store exterior and interior designs, working closely with multiple client teams, internal designers, consultants, and contractors- Determine project scope by working closely with clients to stay under budget and complete the project within the schedule- Direct weekly meetings with clients to manage communication and project revisions on fast paced projects- Partner with clients to discuss new and ongoing operations and maintenance of the stores, responding to feedback from designers, store personnel, and customers.- Lead and manage Prototype and Standards Design Team to review and develop construction details- Formulate and maintain Design and Construction processes and procedures that standardize workflow and scheduling efficiently in all project phases.- Conduct quality assurance reviews and advise on construction documents throughout phases on over 50 projects, spanning from vendor shops to 10 floor flagship stores AS PROJECT DESIGNER:- Manage the interior architecture of projects from ground up to interior renovations, ranging from 2,000 sf to 367,000 sf, including multiple flagship stores such the Nordstrom Manhattan projects and Canadian projects.- Multidisciplinary collaboration with Architects, Designers, Engineering Consultants, Clients, Vendors, and Contractors in plumbing, electrical, mechanical, structural, audio/visual, art, casework, graphic design, and FF&E.AS STUDIO LEAD:- Leader in Studio group, dedicated to providing an engaging and progressive environment and nurturing a welcoming culture to, at one point, over 80 team members - Co-manage, mentor, and train team of designers and architectural staff in Studio group- Involved in interviewing and hiring process of new staff
