I am currently attending the University of Michigan with the aim of majoring in Biochemistry through the College of LSA. I am a sophomore student-athlete with the varsity women's water polo team, where I play as a goalie for my team.I have proficient experience involving customer service and inter-personalization, as well as in lab techniques and challenges. I am highly ambitious in every opportunity that I am granted and problem-solve to find a solution when needed. I have the goal of participating in lab research during my years at the University of Michigan to see where I would like to take my career in the biochemistry field. I am currently interested in the topics of cancer research and immunology, as I have experienced the damage and trauma caused by undetected cancers. The goal of my career will, hopefully, be related to improving and refining cancer treatments, detection, and overall public understanding of how to understand and possibly detect cancer earlier. I am considering applying to medical school after I complete my undergraduate journey, but am still unsure of my future path.
