As a commercial interior designer with BRPH Companies I am responsible for projects from the start to finish. My interaction with the client begins with interviews and questionnaires to create program documents and develop adjacencies. This information is later translated into a floor plan using various space planning tools such as freehand sketching and computer aided drafting. After an approved layout has been developed it is my responsibility to translate the design into construction documents including detailing, millwork design and written specifications. After design completion I am responsible for construction administration including site visits, conducting punch lists, answering RFI’s and reviewing submittals.In addition to typical construction documents, I am also experienced in creating government specific interior design documentation including Structural Interior Design (SID) and Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment (FFE) packages. These packages include the selection, pricing and documentation of finishes, furniture and equipment for the facility.

As a commercial interior designer at Transystems I worked on government as well as retail projects. I was responsible for creating construction documents in both AutoCAD and Revit Architecture, producing furniture specifications, furniture budgets, selecting building and furniture finishes, detailing and designing interior features, designing conceptual storefronts and displays and creating presentation materials in Photoshop, InDesign, Revit and AutoCAD.
