In my leadership role I oversee the development and delivery of nine courses at levels 2 and 3, ensuring they align with local industry needs and standards. I am responsible for managing a dedicated team of staff members, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment that promotes excellence in education. I ensure the curriculum is relevant, engaging, and of the highest quality, adapting to the ever-evolving demands of the digital and creative sectors. The whole team works closely with industry partners to gather insights and feedback, which inform curriculum development and enhancements. I facilitate the curriculum development, ensure quality assurance throughout the faculty, manage my team and support them wherever I can, encourage industry collaboration, contribute to strategic planning of the faculty as well as ensuring our students receive comprehensive support throughout their learning journey.

I manage the courses and staff within the Digital Technologies and Elective Home Education departments whilst also teaching some content. This include liaising with various staff, managers, and external agencies when required and ensuring that we offer relevant and up to date qualifications for our students. Since April 2024, I not only manage the digital courses but also creative courses and games development at West Suffolk College.

I am responsible for the Level 3 Year 2 students and their progress. I teach on both the first and second year level 3 course teaching animation and IT security/encryption as well as Wed Development on the HE level 4 course.

I was responsible for the Level 2 Btec course in IT, deciding the units and helping to arrange timetables for staff and rooms. I taught lots of aspects of computing as well as business, event management and games development. I was also the lead internal verifier for Btec IT which ment that I had overall responsibility for the assesment and verification of IT at Cambridge Regional College.

I taught and assessed ITQ folders for students completing their ITQ level 1, 2 and 3.

I was resonsible for completing CRB (now DBS) checks in a timely manner. Confidentialityand accuracy were of great importance whilst searching through the police computer systems for information about appliants and completing disclosure reports.
