- Managed summer intern program which included leading and selecting recruiting teams, interviewing and negotiating with candidates, coordinating organization placement and designing the program structure- Designed and implemented a cross discipline and balanced development training program for Marathon early career engineers and geoscientists. Program consisted of ~100 internal presenters and field trips to various assets in the company. Technical curriculum focused on geoscience, reservoir, drilling, completions, production, and facilities- Led corporate, technical competency assessment used by all internal engineers and geoscientists; analyzed results and provided key points to leadership- Partnered with chief geoscientist, reservoir engineer and completions engineer to develop and implement an internal, technical impact assessment methodology

- Regularly work alongside field operations, workover, facilities, completions and subsurface teams to optimize Eagle Ford wells- Provide well surveillance, troubleshooting, and identification of problem wells- Champion for Rod Pump Failure Analysis for Production Engineering group which includes maintaining and analyzing failure trends, coordinating monthly meetings with operations team and communicating failure findings with other assets and internal technical organizations- Conducted failure analysis on 50+ rod pump wells and determined root cause and mitigation- Led tubing anchor catcher (TAC) failure root cause study across the Eagle Ford. Worked with senior engineer on calculating optimal shear rating of TAC, evaluated various TAC styles and design placement and collaborated with workover team to implement changes- Mentored summer intern

- Selected by leadership team to lead Enersight pilot and evaluation as a new approach to asset level planning- Successfully completed pilot and obtained approval from executive management to move forward with implementing Enersight across all three resource plays and was then selected as the key individual to lead the effort- Worked with each asset in building a fit for purpose Enersight model while also ensuring there was enough consistency across the planning organization to add efficiencies such as quick resource play forecast roll ups

- Created Eagle Ford production and capital forecasting tool- Developed a production tool used by the Eagle Ford operations team to easily identify central facility capacity constraints- Sustained Eagle Ford short and long term production and capital forecasting model – used for scenario planning, identifying production constraints, and cash flow modeling- Provided detailed production and capital forecast updates and variance to the leadership team on a monthly basis- Generated annualized Eagle Ford production forecast and capital budget- Collaborated with business development organization to evaluate bolt on acreage acquisitions- Contributed and formatted slide decks for board and external meetings - Evaluated and made recommendations to management on portfolio optimization

- Managed well creation to drill ready process for wells within Marathon’s Karnes County acreage - Assisted with designing, implementing and analyzing various well pilots involving multiple horizons and various acre/stage spacing

- Evaluated economic potential of various drill projects , recompletions and workovers- Determined and monitored compression needs across multiple fields using in house production model to ensure efficient use of available compression- Used Crystal Ball and in house production model on a continual basis to book reserves for both projects and performance improvements (increased proved reserves while in position)- Worked closely with OBO partners in non-operated fields to evaluate new projects and ensure spend stayed within approved capital budget

- Performed pattern analysis on a CO2 flood in Seminole Field – West Texas (tertiary recovery project) to determine the percent contribution to total oil production from the residual oil zone

- Evaluated then prioritized potential candidates for artificial lift across the East Marlow area- Determined most economical artificial lift type using decline curve analysis and offset well results- Led project from inception to completion (supervised install on sight) - Evaluated near term results and recommended a path forward
