• Manage/lead the most complex and high visibility proposals with proposal director sponsorship and ensure high quality proposal responses that help drive profitable sales/growth/retention for all products supported. • Demonstrate an extremely high level of independence and proficiency in all elements of completing the RFP and/or questionnaire response.• Participate as a step-up unit leader for new hires who have completed training. Act as a mentor, meeting daily with new hires, and answering all questions for 4-6 weeks. If workload permits, serve as the Proposal Director on new hire cases that are lower in complexity. • Communicate clearly and confidently with the team, field, and internal partners. • Seek out, develop, and maintain positive and collaborative relationships with all business partners. • Ensure any information the team needs is communicated in a clear and timely manner.• Demonstrate the highest levels of teamwork, responsiveness, independence, and accountability to ensure execution on the fundamental aspects of our work.• Model the consistent use of all workflows and drive changes to increase department efficiency/effectiveness. • Lead assigned project teams and work with department leadership on implementation of solutions.
