GSi Events Ltd. manages a growing portfolio of high profile mass participation running events, including Edinburgh Marathon Festival. As Head of Charity Running, I worked with charities all over the UK who are affiliated to the company's various events. My role was comprised of a number of different functions (event management, marketing & communications, customer support, administration) with the overall aim of ensuring that charities achieved an excellent return on their investment. In 2014, I was given the opportunity to take on the role of Product Manager on a key CRM project. This involved the complete redesign of an online CRM system that enables GSi Events Ltd to manage charity customers while simultaneously giving them the tools they need to manage their own customers (runners). I played a key role in establishing the requirements for the new system, working remotely with the developer to deliver the requirements and liaising with key customers during user acceptance testing.

Assisting in coordinating transport at the Olympic Park for the media. I was granted an extended leave of absence from my full time role at GSi Events Ltd. in order to pursue this once in a lifetime opportunity to work at the Olympic Games.
