I am a former solicitor who, following time at home raising a family, has retrained as a teaching assistant. I currently have a position at Moorlands Junior School in Sale, Greater Manchester, working in particular with Year 4. Prior to my career break I worked for Myerson as a solicitor in their Corporate/Commercial department. My role involved advising on a range of corporate work including acquisitions and disposals of companies/businesses, incorporations, corporate re-organisations, shareholder arrangements and general commercial matters including commercial agreements, distribution and reseller agreements and standard terms and conditions.I studied Classics at the University of Cambridge before completing my LLB at the College of Law, London. Following completion of my training contract at Collyer Bristow LLP, I worked in the Structured Solutions department of Pinsent Masons LLP, Manchester, where I advised both public and private sector clients on infrastructure development and financing projects, asset backed vehicles, joint ventures, service outsourcings, regeneration and other commercial partnerships.
