I'm a full time nanny looking after two girls at the age of 6 and 8. I have been trained in a first aid course that is valid for 2 years. I'm fully responsible for the two children sorting out there meals throughout the day, getting them ready for bed including baths and making sure they are dressed and have done all their cleaning up on time. I occasionally have to stay over if the parents are away for business. I'm independent with this role throughout the whole day from playing activities, thinking on the spot and sorting difficult situations. Including looking after the children I also do light house work during the day by making beds, making sure the house is clean and tidy, washing and drying running errands for the family and on a Friday I clean the whole house which includes hoovering, bathrooms, disinfecting all surfaces, washing towels and bed sheets.

Just finished working at MINI Cooper Tonbridge, which is a customer telephone and face to face role, which is incorporated with research on my own and with training days. • Being the first face and first contact when the customer arrives at the dealership, whether it being the first time or a returning customer. • Using my excellent premium customer service on the telephone daily ringing customers for appointments which I manage in a diary for each team in the centre. • Researching with my own initiative about the products and giving the correct information to the customer also holding meetings on new cars/products. • Have worked in sales for events and have sold cars that have gone towards the target for the end of the month, which I have been rewarded for personally and on a reward board.

I worked at the Bedford part time, which included nights and weekends and some day shifts, which I was doing alongside working at H&M and attending college. I worked here to gain more skills and customer experience, I also really enjoyed the social side. During a shift I would serve customers also asking for ID when required and paying attention to the customer to make sure they are OK enough to be served due to not being able to serve someone who is intoxicated, which it could harm the business and other customers. I would make sure the till has enough change throughout the evening, that glasses were cleared from tables, that the bar is clean and tidy and stocked up. I have done my own research by finding out from the landlord and small taste testers with staff and manager before the shift, about the beers that I was serving so I could offer the customers what they are asking for and giving my own recommendations. At the end of the shift I would have to stock up and clean the bar up for the next day, which would include moping the floors, cleaning all surfaces, cashing up, sweeping outside, and cleaning all glasses. I was also responsible for checking that the pub was secure and locked at night before leaving.

Worked for a family run Travel Company, specialising in short and long haul holidays, escorted tours and tailor made holidays, which was telephone based also an odd face to face meeting. • Hitting my own monthly and daily targets and working towards company targets and achieving top seller of the month 3 months in succession. • Experienced user of GDS (Galileo) to book flights and checked the availability. • Dealing with objections and solving them on the spot, ensuring the customer is happy and satisfying with the outcome. • Arranging flights, insurance visas and accommodation separately and as a package deal. • Taking payments by card, bank transfers and face to face.

I started off as a part time position, which was mainly weekends and a few shifts during the week when I wasn't at college. My responsibilities were to provide a happy and excellent customer service to customers and team members. My routine for the day would be to cash and float the tills in the morning, make sure the store is nice and tidy before opening and everything is in the right place, have a brief meeting with the store manager to go over our sales target for the day and the week, so we knew if we had to up sell products or any promotions happening during the week. Throughout the day I would help customers with basic needs with finding what they are looking for, or just talking to customers building a report and making sure they have an excellent experience when they visit the store. We would tag and put stock out whilst keeping the store clean and maintained during the day, I would also be on the tills serving customers.At the end of the day we would be given our own section to tidy and make sure stock is well presented for the next day, we would also check for any faulty items also floating the tills to make sure it matches the register, also having an end of the day meeting with our manager to check our sales target compared to our tills also anything that we could improve on the next day as well as any praises that the manager noticed about us or that we received from customers. I had the opportunity to become a full time member, which then would be leading on to be a team leader, which at the time I was already asked from my manager to train other new members and started learning about the visual merchandising side to H&M.
