Project Sample:Forest Village Housing Project, Western Cape, South Africa, Department of Human Settlements, 10/2017 - 09/2021, Project Manager.4820 housing units and associated bulk and internal services. 13 difference contractors were used for various portions of the work.From 2017, I was responsible for the project management of 8 of the housing and internal services contracts ranging in value from R 8 million to R 100 million. This included all correspondence, meetings, claims and payment certificates.I was responsible for the day-to-day project management, as well the contract administration.Working with the site staff, I provided technical assistance when required.I also assisted with the tender documentation and was responsible for the evaluation for projects awarded from 2020.Delft Infills Housing Project, Western Cape, South Africa, Department of Human Settlements, 01/2016 - 03/2017,This project comprised of 6 infill housing developments in the Delft area. The Contracts were awarded to ‘SMME’ Contractors as a part of the DoHS strategy to increase the number of competent contractors.I was responsible for the overall contract administration and management of the infill contracts. This included internal civil works and the housing. I managed the monthly progress and technical meetings, and was responsible for the approval of quantities and assessment of claims for payment.I provided technical assistance to the staff on site.Infrastructure and Services for the Proposed Mariculture Development: Construction of Pipelines, Eastern Cape, South Africa. ELIDZ. Engineer's Representative 10/2009-01/2012Resident Engineer for the Phase 1 of the Mariculture Project. This project comprised of a salt water rising main, supply line and sewer, as well as a domestic water, sewer and stormwater line.
