I am the lead physical therapist serving clients with complex wheelchair seating needs, specializing in the prescription of complex rehabilitation equipment. Working full-time, I serve clients with neurologic conditions such as MS, ALS, CP, MD, matching equipment needs to current medical and functional needs. I have worked to establish best practice work flows for our hospital system, with a passion for ensuring follow up postural and functional assessments, and training is performed across the continuum of care. I am the lead resource in the Providence Portland system regarding wheelchair seating needs. I am a founding member of the Northwest Assistive Technology Access Coalition, working to ensure Oregon residents have equal access to medically necessary complex rehabilitation equipment.

I am the primary wheelchair seating specialist in the Providence Seating Clinic, based at Providence Northeast Rehabilitation Clinic. I serve adult clients whom have complex wheelchair seating and positioning needs, performing advanced manual and power wheelchair evaluations, pressure ulcer management and risk-reduction assessments, custom seating prescription and fabrication, wheelchair skills training, and alternative drive control training and programming. Catherine is an active member of the APTA and RESNA. I have been an ATP since 2008 and SMS since 2013. I am a founding member of the Northwest Assistive Technology Access Coalition, which is dedicated to ensure Oregon residents have access to complex rehabilitation equipment to meet medical and functional needs.
