As the Transitions Manager I manage a team of experienced software specialists, that have developed and continue to integrate data migrations for a variety of Legal Software Packages. We manage the full process of liaising with clients, extracting data and migrating it into the LEAP product range.RESPONSIBILITIES – HIGH PRIORITY/KPI’s• Mapping a variety of Legal Software Packages to LEAP• Timely and accurate Migration of data• Reconciliation of migrated accounting data• Expanding and adding functionality to the transition process• Creation and maintenance of documentation and internal systems• Daily observations and control of projects for the Transitions Department• Maintenance of data audit checking• Written reporting on migrated data• QA Testing on Migration software

We manage the full process of liaising with clients, extracting data and converting it into the LEAP product range.TRANSITIONS FACILITATOR RESPONSIBILITIES • Managing a client’s expectations in the lead up to implementation with regards to software functionality, implementation timeline and sequence• Scheduling of existing client transitions & installations in United Kingdom• Maintaining documentation• Providing consistent contact with the client throughout the implementation process• Meeting with the client before, during or after the implementationI provide the communication bridge between the sales process and implementation itself. The Transitions Facilitator is responsible for all direct contact with the client during the implementation of a LEAP Transition.

The main focus of this role is the production of quarterly and annual planning performance statistics. These statistics measure the number of planning applications determined by Scottish Planning Authorities (PAs), and their performance in processing them.The main duties of this role were:- Quality assurance and analysis of record level data submitted by PAs each quarter- Responding to planning performance queries from PAs in collaboration with policy colleagues- Adding to existing guidance notes and keeping instructions and templates up to date. Including using ePlanning Portals to investigate some of the unique coding that PAs use in their record level data- Maintaining good record keeping in an electronic filing system- Quality assurance of SVDLS datasets via Excel, ArcGIS mapping software or online mapping tools such as Grid Reference Finder- Contributing to the SVDLS statistical publication by producing maps, charts or tables and updating the written commentary that highlights any trends in the dataNational Records of Scotland- Investigating and explaining large changes in the data between years, using tools such as ArcGIS mapping software and research on the Internet, for example by using ePlanning Portals to find evidence of new housing developments or demolitions- Analysing the data to identify and explain key trends, produce maps, charts, tables and commentary for the publication. Checking the accuracy of the publication and providing ideas for improvement- Communicating findings with the team and data suppliers, for quality assurance purposes
