As the Director of Embrace Consultancy, I am working with businesses to build emotional loyalty within their team by creating simple plans that focus on engagement, organisational values and culture.I am also seeking opportunities to share my experience and expertise with a wider audience through speaking engagements, building on my series of blogs.Further to this, I am a Director on the Advisory Board of Finesse Leisure Partnership, a community based Trust working to provide inclusive sports and leisure facilities. This brings together my passions for local businesses, social purpose and exercise.A turning point in my life was spending 6 years living and working in a start-up business in the US. We opened 200 stores and went from 0 to 5000 employees in 5 years across 3 different States (California, Nevada and Arizona). During this time my role was to ensure the vision for our unique business culture was sustained. Best job of my life !A massive adventure and learning curve and it has definitely shaped my thinking and given me the passion to help other smalll businesses in the same way : those that are expanding or want to grow, but at the same time retain their reputation and 'personal touch' as they expand.As well as my work, I found a passion for all things Triathlon....... check out @agegroupgirl, my alter-ego !
