I have worked for Spalding DeDecker for more than three decades, and during my time here I have filled many different positions. My professional experience has grown to encompass the following areas: Survey Field Technician, Survey Office Technician, IT Administrator, Survey Project Manager, Office Manager, Marketing Manager, Vice President, and most recently, Business Development and Marketing Manager. What I enjoy most about working at SD is we have a really great team at Spalding DeDecker. It makes coming to work very enjoyable. Also, after working in several different capacities at SD, I really enjoy building client relationships.I have a Bachelor of Science in Land Surveying from Michigan Technological University and associate degrees from Macomb Community College. Additionally, I am a certified Professional Surveyor in Michigan and Ohio, as well as a Professional Surveyor and Mapper in Florida. My long list of certifications also includes instructor for First Aid |CPR | AED and Boating Safety.When I am not at SD, I enjoy being with family, volunteering as a Macomb County Marine Safety Officer on Lake St. Clair, honing my shooting skills at Huron Pointe Sportsman's Association, and photographing everything.

From 1985 through 1992, I served SDA as a survey technician. In 1992, I became a Survey Project Manager.

I oversee the remonumentation program for Macomb County. Created in 1992, the Macomb County Remonumentation Program established a plan to replace, restore, and maintain all public land survey monuments in Macomb County. These monuments are used by Land Surveyors to determine property line boundaries, road alignments, and subdivision layouts, including the location of commercial and industrial property. The Remonumentation Program is funded 100 percent by the State of Michigan, Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs. The program began as a 20-year effort to survey the State of Michigan. However, the time allotment was extended until January of 2023. The Maintenance Program will take effect after January of 2023 and will preserve the efforts realized in the Remonumentation Program by ensuring the monuments remain in their proper location.

Since 2003, I have been an active member of CREW Detroit serving the membership, communications, and outreach committee. In 2015 and 2016, I served on the Board of Directors as the Liaison to the Outreach Committee. The Outreach Committee hosts thee events: CREW Careers, UCREW, and the Holiday Auction.
