What I enjoy most is connecting. Connecting with clients, connecting with outside partners, and connecting people with opportunity. Over the past 15 years, my ability to create meaningful relationships with individuals from diverse backgrounds and maintain those affiliations has been the key to my success. I’ve coached clients from a wide variety of industries, functions, and levels. My executive clients in particular have commented that my innate ability to listen, understand their interests and motivators, and coach them to effectively articulate their value across a number of platforms. During my time at NC State, I very much enjoyed working collaboratively with the Economic Development Partnership, presenting to executive level stakeholders within companies looking to build a presence in the Triangle and participated in a number of round tables and panel discussions related to talent recruitment and development. I am a frequent presenter of webinars and workshops for a variety of groups including the UNC General Alumni Association, ReacHIRE, Connected Women of NC, and TSHRM. I enjoy talking with recruiters and employers to better understand market trends, and using that information to help clients secure opportunities that match their skills and values.
