Catherine is internationally recognized as one of founders of the field of executive coaching. Her highly-rated book on executive coaching is required reading in coaching programs around the world. Her clients have included the Inter-American Development Bank, Lockheed Martin, National Public Radio, the Noyce Foundation, PWC, Wikipedia, the World Bank, and the World Resources Institute.Catherine also has extensive experience helping leaders and their companies become more successful. She has facilitated team development and organizational change efforts. She has also taught courses on leadership development and organizational change at a number of universities, including Georgetown University and the University of Maryland at College Park. She writes and researches about leadership and complexity, strategy, leadership in the second half of life, and personality and leadership style and effectiveness.Catherine has a Ph.D. in psychology from the State University of New York at Buffalo and completed an internship at Yale University.
