As the Data Manager during GDPR introduction and the migration from an old CRM to Salesforce, I gained experience in major data projects. I gained an insight into the fear and pressure these can place on everyone in a business, as well as the possibilities after new technology is embedded. It also provided an understanding of the technology and processes required to keep data clean, and the importance of engaging the Sales and Operations staff who do so much of the work required to achieve/maintain the single customer view. I worked with inspiring people and organisations to create memorable conferences and events, aiming to provide an excellent customer experience and commercial success. Managing large events developed my organisational skills and ability to work under pressure.

I designed and implemented the marketing of Bond Solon's training, conferences and courses. This included branding, PR, website, email and direct mail. In this role I learned new skills in design and design software, creating our brochures and adverts. It included interesting projects, such as managing the introduction of a new website.

Selling legal training for health professionals, I spent much of my time building and maintaining relationships with NHS managers. I identified budget holders and influencers, and utilised advocates and networks. I then worked with the client to identify which courses best met their training needs, and any tailoring required. This role included developing strategies for introducing a new course or target audience, including cold-calling campaigns and utilising our history within that region.
