As co-chair I oversee the commission in all aspects as I run meetings, oversee each project and work with the rest of the ASUC. Over the years I have collaborated with members to develop and launch Ethical Eats, a local restaurant sustainability rating website through data collection using surveys to inform community about sustainable eating options. I also participate in outreach to elementary school science teachers to establish partnerships after which we design semester-long environmental justice and sustainability curriculum to teach hour-long sessions in their classrooms. Every year I work to organize and oversee our on-campus solar powered music festival, Sunstock, that hosts over 300 students. I have been elected to position for 3 consecutive terms by my fellow members.
