Who ever said passion and purpose can’t intersect? I am Catherine, a magnetic and driven woman in STEM. In this life, I aspire to continue contributing positively to the world through research, education, and mentorship.Since 2020, I have empowered over 150 young people to discover their passions and align their career pursuits with their purpose, through Genesis Career Centre - the Caribbean's premier full-service career coaching agency. Through my client-centric approach, focusing on the unique needs and aspirations of young ambitious women, my work has rippled through the lives of those we have served. The majority of our clients have reported being more empowered to pursue their career dreams, with their job search and career progression benefiting richly from their increased confidence. My clients have received multiple job offers, significant salary increases, and even been paid to attend college!As a budding reproductive health researcher, my research interests include the safety of menstrual products and the effect of environmental pollutants on fertility and health. I aim to use this knowledge to inform policies which govern women's health and safety.In every facet of my life, I have created ways to give back to my country through education. Whether doing tutoring sessions for my colleagues in preparation for a big exam, or facilitating hundreds of students in all-night marathons, or being part of early childhood education, teaching has always been part of the path I have taken.
